Day #4: Normalizing Therapy

There is no harm in seeing a therapist. Regardless of what people say, we should all seek professional help for ourselves. The idea of talking to a therapist does not imply that you are crazy or mentally unstable, it just means that there are some things we need to discuss so we can move forward with our lives.

We cannot keep judging each other based on what we do and how we live. The pain of judgment can hurt people mentally, and it can make them feel like they don't belong here anymore. I find it hard to deal with this amount of negativity. Therefore, getting professional assistance if you are experiencing mental or emotional problems is not a bad thing. In my opinion, it is perfectly acceptable to seek such help if you know you need it and are working to get on track. You will not suffer consequences if you do this, no matter what people say.

In order to ignore negative things that people try to share or portray in various ways, we must learn how to ignore them. People cannot dictate what we can and cannot do for ourselves. As humans we must sometimes appreciate the effort we are all making to stabilize ourselves and appreciate that we are doing our best to succeed. Sometimes it is difficult to continue on with our goals or lives, but there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Light must be found to shine upon the darkness that we are experiencing or feeling. Positive outcomes will always follow negative events, because the negative will eventually become a positive. Learning from bad situations will enable you to turn them into good ones. I may not have all the right information to share about certain things, but I hope to share positive words that will encourage people to keep going. It is inevitable that there will be times when we feel like giving up. However, these times will not happen anymore because we have our beautiful shining soul and we are destined for greatness. There is never a wrong time to discover who you are and what your purpose is. On earth, everyone has a purpose, and no one is a mistake.

DAY 3: Regretting Past Events Because of Doubt

My belief is that we shouldn't regret what we did and/or didn't do in the past because of current circumstances. Rather, we should learn from our mistakes and grow from them. The past impedes us from moving forward towards a brighter future. You should never regret what you've done in the past, sometimes we need to understand ourselves and figure out why we made certain mistakes to prevent them in the future.

In order to move forward from past events, you must use today and now rather than relying on the past for guidance. Easier said than done, right? You can do a lot to overcome doubt from past events, but you must open yourself to new experiences and realize that we all make mistakes in our lives. There is no point in keeping doubting ourselves over what we should have done or what we should do.

Doubts cannot help you improve yourself, they only lead to a feeling of regret for the things we could have done.
